When The Mask Slips

The subject of this poem actually came to mind one morning as I woke up and reflected upon the night’s dream. It was subsequently entered into and accepted by Beyond The Spectrum for their magazine anthology.

This poem is about trying to be something that we attain to be but can’t quite reach.
