Poetry really helped me after my mental health crisis, and subsequent diagnoses of autism and ADHD. It is a great way to express emotions and the beauty with poems is that so much can be conveyed beautifully in so few words. It is no wonder that many great writers are poets.

I now lead creative writing workshops, predominantly poetry, at events nationwide, in person, online, as one to ones and in groups. So many attendees start sessions believing that they can’t write but by the end, they know that they are also poets, and are inspired to carry on writing beyond the workshops.

Please do contact me if you are interested in these workshops. If you would like to try your hand at poetry in the meantime, then I have created some prompts to get you started: Click here for prompts.

I hope that you enjoy this selection of my poetry. Many of my poems have won awards and have been published, so I do not have the freedom to post them all on the website. However, I do intend to publish an anthology in the near future.
